Mount Kigali isn’t a ‘mount’, exactly. It’s more of a hill and most of the hill is populated with houses so it’s not exactly remote wilderness, either. But somehow it’s still a nice little walk. The houses on the way up are small and charming and the narrow roads as you start the hike are kind of cool, too. If you’re hoping for a physically challenging day of mountain climbing then Mount Kigali will probably be a disappointment, but if you’re looking for an interesting stroll up a large hill leading to beautiful views of the city, then this is a great way to spend a few hours.

BUSINESS-FRIENDLY CITY

Kigali is one of the fastest-growing cities in Africa – and this includes its business sector. Until recently, Rwanda has tended to be overlooked as a profitable and viable option for doing business. It doesn’t have the kind of multinationals that operate in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. Rwanda has undertaken key reforms in the business regulatory framework to create a business-friendly environment. In fact, Rwanda is ranked 29th globally and 2nd (after Mauritius) as the easiest place to do business by the World Bank’s 2019 Doing Business Report. Rwanda has a well organised and efficient public sector, thus helping to minimize the time and effort involved in starting a new business or expanding an existing one. Kigali itself is one of the cleanest cities in the world, while the low level of traffic makes it easy to get around and move between.

Get to know this beautiful and amazing city. The Go Kigali City Tour is the best way to see and experience Kigali!

Stops include: a trip to the top of Mt. Kigali for views of the city and the countryside, a milk bar, a neighborhood market, a mural walk, a great Rwandan lunch, the best coffee around, a ride on a water taxi, a neighborhood walk and ends at the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Our tour ends around 3:30pm at The Kigali Genocide Memorial. Our driver and vehicle will wait with you until 5pm(when the memorial closes) for those interested.
